I’m Dr. Jennifer L. Brown, Founder & CEO of NorthStar Executive Coaching & Leadership Development. My approach to coaching and leadership development is grounded in more than 25 years of experience in higher education and executive leadership, including service as a Provost and Vice President, Vice Provost, Dean, Associate Dean, and Professor.

With over 20 years in higher education and 10 years as a senior administrator, I’ve dedicated my career to understanding what makes leaders effective and how they can inspire transformative change within their institutions.

I established NorthStar Executive Coaching & Leadership Development to address a gap I consistently observed in the professional development of leaders within academia and healthcare. My goal was to create a service that not only provided personalized coaching but also equipped leaders with the skills to navigate the complexities of their roles effectively. By combining strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and an in-depth understanding of sector-specific challenges, we’ve been able to make a significant impact.
